The Things That Most People Are Mentioning About Lotro Power Leveling And A Checklist Of Beneficial Steps

Lotro Power Leveling

Level however you like according to these suggestions, but please also pay attention when people say that you're going to make it harder for yourself when you don't take the time to properly play your class. This is especially true when power-leveling with high-level friends, as you don't properly learn the way to mesh with other classes.I've decided to switch servers to one my friend is on. He has a lvl 37 Warden and a 50 something or other and another friend has a 50ish Champion.

  1. And no worries about rushing or feeling like a grind. I'm an alt-aholic so will be playing through all the content more than once at a leisurely pace.As others have mentioned, the game's set up to make power-leveling unrewarding, since you'll get less combat XP, and even if you have them take you through higher level orange, red and purple quests, you won't get much if any, extra XP from doing them than you would at white or blue level. Plus you'll probably run out of quest content pretty quickly.
  2. This is just so I have one character that's able to hang with their higher level ones when they don't feel like playing their lowbie alts as wellI tried searching these forums, but the search is dreadfully broken. Doesn't let me click beyond the first page for some reason. So I apologize if this info is available somewhere else.
  3. We've been experimenting a bit to see what the best way is to get a toon caught up to him is. My friend recently decided that she wanted a dwarf minstrel and not a hobbit. Luckily she was only level 30 but we had to grind her back up to where her old class was. The fastest way to do this is to do quest and have the higher level character blow through everything. We were able to get her up to 30 in two days. Doing quests a few levels higher than you really helps.I was curious if there were any tried and true ways of having a high level player help a low level player gain levels.Questing is the way to go.
  4. Quests for you are worth a lot more xp than kills ever will be. Have them help you finish quests if that's what you're really wanting to do.Power-leveling by having high-levels slaughter mobs and beat quests for you just means that when you do hit end-game, you'll have absolutely no clue how to play your class, even solo. If you don't want to actually do anything at end-game other than tag along with other people and watch them do things, you'll be fine; otherwise, you'll likely be enough of a drag on any group you join that you'll get booted in short order.that said, when i level my toons i always do it via questing. you get good xp, reasonable item rewards, progress towards deeds (for virtues), and it can go quickly if you know which ones to do.
  5. Generally, you will want to do quests that con orange or yellow. never turn in a quest that cons red, and don't waste your time on anything that cons blue/green (unless it is a pre-req for something you want). with all the regions that have been added since launch there are plenty of quests available to keep you in the right level range.Honestly though, if you're just rushing through, you're going to end up feeling teh game is a grind (because you've made it one) and boring since you'll be missing most of what is out there.
It would be so much better for your buddy to roll an alt and level up with you till you reach his "higher level" toon. The average xp gain per kill, again on level or yellows, is about 90xp each. Doing the daily skirm quests is a crazy amount of xp. Four dailies is a whole level through your 20s!
